Monica Belluci

Constantly appearing in lists as one of the world’s most beautiful women, Monica Belluci has been established as one of the sexiest contemporary female stars to hit the screens. Originally, Belluci planned a career in the legal profession, however, the need for money during her studies lead her to take up some modelling work. Her success was such that she enjoyed a lucrative modelling career. Her acting career began in 1990, but her film breakthrough was in the 1992 film Dracula, starring alongside Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder. In 1996 she received a Cesar nomination, known to some as the French version of an Oscar, for her performance in L’Appartament, which coincidentally also starred Vincent Cassell, her now husband.
Bellucci married French actor Vincent Cassell (star of cult French film La Haine) in 1999. During this time she famously posed naked whilst pregnant for the cover of Vanity Fair. Monica and Vincent's daughter Deva was born on 12th September 2004 in Rome, Italy. reportedly Bellucci and cassel live in seperate appartments. Monica spends a lot of time in London, Cassell in Paris, partly , it is reported, to keep their passion alive.
